Gallena
Located just outside the border of Casole d'Elsa, it has two stone towers of the ancient castle. The first documents which mentioned it date back to April 29th 994, when Tegrimo del fu Ildebrand gave his wife Sinderada, daughter of Viscount Guido, a fourth of the curtis of Piscina Nera, called Gallena, with the tower, the castle and the church of S. Pietro.
